we would like to be able to have an 'item/customer' field added so we can code an item for a customer (or a group of customers) to allow only those customers to order the item (item code used to tag the item would also be assigned to the customer(s)/dept(s) in the customer database so that customer could order the item but no other customers could we do not want to set up restrictive contracts for an entire account database or do anymore location creations than we already have, instead we want to be able to code an item, add that code to a customer and only that customer can order the item, no other customers can, for example 'imprinted donut box' only 1 customer can order it, no other customers can we do not want it to come up in search for other customers, they can't see it or order it. this would be a great feature to help us maintain our item database without having to reinvent the wheel or add a to of specialty contracts that we now have to maintain etc too messy. this would allow us to keep things manageable in our system.
This could also be used to assign HP contract cartridges to approved accounts only.
