We would like programming enhancement for the customer database under 'delivery' or a new tab or in the shipto/attention tab perhaps so that we can enter customer delivery dates and then any orders placed by the customer will only and automatically release for processing the day prior to their requested delivery dates. This would NOT be something the customer has to enter every time they place an order online, OR that CS would have to remember, this would be controlled in the customer database by us internally.
We would enter customer delivery dates for example customers require delivery ONLY ON TUESDAYS! Or if their business is ONLY opened Thursday-Sunday, and they placed an order on Monday, it would not release until Wednesday for processing and delivery the next day. Or if they place an order on Thursday it's not released because the next day is Friday and this customer does not accept delivery dates on Friday, ONLY TUESDAY so the order they placed on Thursday would automatically release on Monday to be processed, filled and delivered the next day but this is not something the customer would have to always enter when they placed their orders online.
we can enter order notes and shipping notes but the order is placed on Monday and processed for Tuesday delivery, the driver has it on his route Tuesday, he's going to deliver it n Tuesday even though the business is not opened or does not allow Tuesday deliveries, so that doesn't really work.
We would enter delivery dates for the customer and so no matter when they order or how they order the order this programming would only and automatically release on the day prior to their allowed delivery date. They could have delivery dates Tuesday and Thursday, if they placed an order on Friday it would not release for processing until the next Monday. another example of this would be: Customer XYZ is only open Monday & Thursday; XYZ placed an order on Monday evening prior to leaving office but won’t be open until Thursday for delivery. We want the release of this order on Wednesday at 4:55 pm for Thursday delivery.
