we have functions allowed in order entry and for our salespeople we only allow them to create QUOTES and modify quotes yet they are able to get into ANY ORDER that is on hold and modify it, void it etc and that makes no sense to me that we have them limited to functions for quotes only yet they can get into orders; if CS puts an order on hold sales can go to that order in order entry where they can ONLY do quote functions and 'order on hold/continue' comes up and they can say yes and boom, they are in the order. that should not be allowed, seems like an error in programming, how isn't the system comparing the OW# and their allowed functions for only quotes and allowing them into orders to modify, void or release them for processing? please fix!
Bernadine, this is a defect Sean turned in for you guys. It will be fixed in the next release.
