Making EBS Imports Faster

It is practically impossible to import customer price plan details during the day, since a full import can take over an hour. Has there been any thought to creating a temp table during the import process and once the import is completed it just renames the table. This process would allow the original table to remain in place and then be replaced during the re-name process. this would in effect only affect online pricing for a second while the table is re-named, instead of over an hour.
